For runners in the "Challenger" division this unique race has a one hour time limit and the challenge is to cross the finish line after eating a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts at the half way mark of the race. This year's 5K race will also feature a "Competitive" division where runners will forego the doughnuts and simply run a timed 5K race. All proceeds from the Krispy Kreme Challenge will benefit Lexington Habitat for Humanity. |
