The event is held on Grand Valley State Universitys beautiful Allendale Campus. For the past nine years, proceeds have been donated to Alternatives in Motion, an organization that provides wheelchairs to individuals without health insurance. This unique event is organized by students from Grand Valley State Universitys Physical Therapy Program to benefit Alternatives in Motion, a Grand Rapids based non-profit 501(C)(3) organization that provides wheelchairs to those with no health insurance. It is an excellent opportunity for wheelchair racers and runners to come together in raising money for a worthy cause. |
