Plant Manager

2001 - Dayton Alloy Wheel Dayton Ohio

Manager of Production and Process Plating & Polishing

Promoted to Manager of Production and Process. Responsible for all Production and Process operations including Production, Scheduling, Personnel, Training, Plating, Chemistry, Polishing, Waste Treatment and Research and Development. While in this position it was my responsibility to effectively and efficiently meet customer product and quality expectations with an emphasis on scrap and cost reduction. Other responsibilities include: Development of Control Plans, Work Instructions, Training Programs, and Continuous Improvement Programs.

1998 - 2001 Dayton Alloy Wheel Dayton Ohio

Process Supervisor and Senior Chemist Copper, Nickel, Chrome Plating

Promoted to Process Supervisor and Senior Chemist. Responsible for supervising all process operations and personnel including Plating, Lab, Training and Waste Treatment. While in this position it was my responsibility to ensure that all process personnel were provided with the proper training, work instruction, control plans and any other tools needed to maintain process parameters to specification. Other Responsibilities included: Implementing preventive and predictive maintenance activities and training of all lab personnel.

Responsible for coordinating the plating process with scheduling, overseeing production employees and providing training and appropriate tools for performing job duties. Implement corrective actions, continuous improvement projects and maintaining QS-9000 quality system requirements.

Promoted to Manager of Process and Quality Systems. Responsible for all Process and Quality operations including Plating Technology, Statistical Process Control and Process and Quality Training Programs. While in this position it was my responsibility to monitor and determine overall effectiveness of operating policies and procedures and ensure compliance with customer quality and specification requirements.

1994 - 1995 Dayton Electroplate Dayton Ohio

Process and Quality Supervisor Zinc Plating

Promoted to Process and Quality Supervisor. Primarily Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with Quality, Process, Waste Treatment and Chemical Lab Operations. I was also responsible for ensuring that the latest and most cost-effective technology was being utilized.
