The event includes a 5K run or walk around the grounds of the Nemours Mansion & Gardens and concludes with refreshments and an educational fair at the hospital for families and children. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of proper and timely diagnosis and management of hearing loss in children in order to facilitate their language development. Proceeds from this event will benefit clinical and research programs related to hearing loss and hearing conservation in children at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and Nemours Biomedical Research. T-shirts for all registered runners (while supplies last). Performance by the Delaware Symphony Orchestra. Refreshments, activities, raffle, and education fair. |
