Held along the river in West Potomac Park, the Trot for Hunger benefits SOME's services for the homeless and poor in Washington, DC. Prizes for the top two finishers in each age group. This year, special incentive prizes will also be provided to participants and teams that reach target fund raising goals. SOME has been serving the hungry and homeless for 40 years. Each day, SOME provides more than 1,000 meals to people in need, along with clothing, medical care, job training, affordable housing and programs for the vulnerable elderly. |
