We highly encourage families to participate, especially because Melanoma is very often a young person's cancer. Non-running adults, teens, children, parents with strollers, and (child friendly) dogs on leashes are all welcome to participate in the walking group. There will also be a short children's "run" right before the start of the official race. This year's race proceeds will be donated to the Skin Cancer Foundation (www.skincancer.org) in the fund's name to further Melanoma research and education. |
