Established in memory of William Nichols, a child who lost his battle with a brain tumor at the age of one, this annual event celebrates the lives of those affected by pediatric brain tumors. Race-day registration for the walk, 5K run and 10K Peachtree Road Race qualifier will be held from 6:30–8 a.m., in the Mansell Crossing Shopping Center on North Point Parkway in Alpharetta. The one-mile walk will begin at 7:45 and the 5K and 10K runs will take place at 8:15 a.m. Pre-registration is available online, at www.firstgiving.com/btfc or www.active.com. Register before October 25 for $20 and $25 thereafter. All registered participants will receive a long-sleeved moisture-wicking T-shirt. Run among some of Berry's 10,000+ deer, enjoy the hospitality of our school/college volunteers, and watch hundreds of kites soaring above as you cross the finish line!
