1976 Winnebago Brave, 21 foot Class C Motorhome
This RV is something else. From the makers of the most reputable
motorhomes, this vintage rv is perfect for someone who appriciates the
classic 70's style.
The motor home has a Dodge 440 engine that runs and shifts fine but
probably needs some work. The interior has a working propane stove, oven
and a duct heating system powered by an Onan generator. Additionally the
water compressor does work which powers the bathroom and faucet. There
is also an electrical plug in.
Really cool things about this funky RV:
-It runs on 87 grade gas
-It will never have to pass emissions testing due to it's model year
-It only has 55,000 original miles!!!!
-It has a clean title
-The parts alone are worth up to $1700 dollars easy
-The Onan Generator(worth probably $500 on its own) only has 140 hours
of use!
-There is a dual battery system that creates plenty of power
-The flooring was just converted to vinyl (last week)
-Has a trailer hitch for towing
-Tons of storage space
What you should know:
-Some of the electrical was done by the prior owner who was an
electrician but not a mechanic. As a result, the RV runs off of an
auxilary tank.
-one of the blinkers does not work when you step on the brake.
-The engine is "vintage" as well, it starts and runs fine but I was told
that it might need new motor mounts.
I purchased this RV earlier in the year and had my heart broken when I
was told that I could not keep it in my condo complex. Unfortunately, I
had gotten half way through redoing the floor (I finished the floor)
when I found out that it was 1/2 a foot too long to stay in my parking
lot. It is currently at my parents house and I'm pretty sure that they
may disown me if I don't get it out of their driveway soon. For that
reason, I have to get rid of it very quickly and will take any
reasonable offer. Please feel free to let me know what you can afford.
This would make a great project for someone or a great permanent fixture
at a campground.
My loss is your gain, make me an offer and it could be yours as soon as
tomorrow!!
Please email me with any questions or to set up a time to see it:
