Race Proceeds Will Go To Support Your Local YMCA Programs. 5K Run/Walk begins at 9:00 am at the First Baptist Church on Main Street in South Boston, VA COURSE DESCRIPTION 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) starts down main street and then turns right to go through several neighborhoods. Starts and finishes at the First Baptist Church on Main street. There will be 1 water station between mile 1 and 2. In addition there will be post-race refreshments.

ENTRY FEE $15.00 per person ages 8 or older if registered by September 20, 2003 * Entree fee includes t-shirts to the first 100 registrants Trophies to the first overall male and female participants in the 5K run/walk. Trophies to the top three male and female runners in the 5K in the following age groups Male and Female: 15 years and under 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59, 60-64, 65 and older. REGISTRATION Registration forms may be dropped off at YMCA South Boston/Halifax County or mailed to the following address: YMCA South Boston Halifax Co., attn: Jenny B. Witko 650 Hamilton Blvd South Boston, VA 24592 Checks should be made out to the YMCA South Boston/Halifax Co. Please include the registration form with payment. Registration will be available race day beginning at 8:00 am Pre-registered participants may pick up race packets Friday night, Sept 26th at the YMCA South Boston/Halifax Co. between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Or, race day at the registration table. |
