Come dressed as your favorite superhero or create your own! The 5K will be hosted by Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority for the benefit of Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children, Inc. All proceeds & sponsorships will help fund training for the volunteers of Voices for Children’s CASA/GAL program, who help find abused & neglected children in Jefferson & Ripley counties safety and permanency with loving families.

Course: This will be a timed event, officiated by Stuart Road Racing, of Aurora, IN. The course surface is asphalt, has slight inclines & winds through the Hanover College campus. 

Entry Fee for 5K:  Early registration fee: $20 with a t-shirt or $15 without a t-shirt. Early registration must be submitted by May 1st. The day-of entry fee will increase to $25. All students (K-College) are offered a discounted early registration fee of $15 with a t-shirt or $10 without a t-shirt. Students registering on race day will be charged a $20 entry fee. While day-of race registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt, some may be available for purchase.

Age Group Awards: Top overall male & female finishers will receive awards & have their names engraved on a plaque displayed in SEI Voices’ office. Top 3 runners in each male & female age group will also receive awards. Age groups are: 10&under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Walkers: Awards given to top 3 overall male & female finishers of any age. An overall best dressed award will also be presented!

Music & Door Prizes:  A DJ will keep our superheroes pumped up with great beats! Door prize drawings will be held at the awards ceremony. (You must be present to win.)

Other: Costumes are fun but not required! Childcare services/activities will be offered for $3/child. Pets are not allowed.

Waiver: In consideration of acceptance of my entry, I hereby waive, discharge and release on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assignees all claims of any nature arising from participation in the Superhero Sprint 5K Run/Walk and do hereby release Pam Moon, Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children, Inc., Hanover College and their affiliates, Kappa Alpha Theta fraternity, Sponsors, workers, officials of any claim whatsoever arising from my participation in this event. I agree to abide by all the rules for participation. I understand the risks involved in such a run/walk, and that I am physically fit and have trained adequately in preparation. I also give permission to the Southeastern Voices for Children Inc. to use any photographs or videos of me that are made during this event.
