Race day registration will be from 7:15 am to 8:00 am.

When
Saturday, April 25, 2009. The 11 mile Run/Walk starts at 9:00 am, the10K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 am, and the 2 mile Run/Walk at 9:15 am.

Where
11 mile & 10K participates will assemble at the Center and will be bused to the race starts. Bus will leave at 8:10 am. The 2 mile run/walk will start at the Cortez Cultural Center at 9:15 am.

Benefit
Proceeds from the race will be donated to the Cortez Cultural Center, a non-profit community organization whose mission is to provide a forum for the community’s educational, cultural, artistic and scientific interests. We are a catalyst for cultural respect, continuity and innovation.

Race Course
The 11 mile course will start at the Anasazi Heritage Center and continue east on County Road T.5 to the junction with Highway 145, south on Highway 145 for approximately 3 & 1/2 miles to County Road P, west to Mildred, south to Montezuma Ave, then to Market Street, finishing at the Cortez Cultural Center. The 10K course will start at Four Seasons Nursery and continue west on County Road P, turn left on 26 (Mildred), south to Montezuma Ave, then to Market Street, finishing at the Cortez Cultural Center. The 2 mile course will start at the Center, continue north to Montezuma Ave., east to Mildred Rd, north to Empire St., west to Park St., south to Montezuma Ave. and return to the Center.

Race Kit Pick-Up
Race kits can be picked up at the Cortez Cultural Center Friday, April 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:00 a.m. on race day, April 25, 2009. The Cortez Cultural Center is located at 25 North Market Street in Cortez.

Entry Fee
$28.00 adults if received on or before April 20th; or $30.00 per person thereafter. $18.00 children 15 & under if received on or before April 20; or $20.00 per person thereafter. Fee includes a T- shirt. (members get a 10% discount)
