The course which will be run is one of the area's newest and most interesting 5 K cross country layouts. Last year the conference IV North high school cross country championship race was held on this course and in 2009 the Northern Counties Cross Country Championship will be held on the Lakeside layout. In 2010 the New York State Cross Country Championship race will be held on the course. We have a beautiful park and a great facility to host championship level races. We hope our race provides you with an opportunity for a great day of running.  Entry fee: $10

Race Course information: The course winds through the scenic Lakeside Park. It is a true cross country course with over 80% of the race run on well marked trails. Although relatively flat there is a challenging hill located in the trails. The distance is 3.1 miles. (5K) Maps will be available on race day. Awards: Age group awards will be determined by the number of entrants. T-shirts will be awarded top finishers. There will also be a drawing at the end of the race for T-shirt prizes so everyone will be eligible to win a shirt if they finish the race. To keep the cost of the race at a minimum, T-shirts will not go to every registered runner.
