In 2010 the New York State Cross Country Championship race was held in Lakeside Park. This year's race will be run on the roads inside the park running along side most of the course the high school runners ran in cross country season. We will stay on the roads to avoid potentially poor conditions. Still, runners will have a similar experience to that of the high school runners who ran in last year's state cross country meet held at Lakeside Park. We have a beautiful park and a great facility to host championship level races. We hope our race provides you with an opportunity for a great day of running. Entry fee: $10

Race Course information: The course winds through the scenic Lakeside Park.

It is a fast 3 mile course run entirely on paved surfaces inside the park. The distance is 3.0 miles. Maps will be available on race day. There will also be a drawing at the end of the race for T-shirt prizes so everyone will be eligible to win a shirt if they finish the race. To keep the cost of the race at a minimum, T-shirts will not go to every registered runner.
