01/01/2010 Polar Bare Dash & Splash 5K Collins Beach, Sauvie Island Oregon Barefoot Beach Run Coordinator 888-FUN-RUNZ http://www.barefootbeachruns.com info@barefootbeachruns.com Polar Bare Dash & Splash 5K Run Friday, January 1, 2010 Collins Beach, Sauvie Island at Noon From Portland take Hwy 30 toward St. Helens, cross the Sauvie Island Bridge and follow Reeder Rd until the paved road ends. Parking 200 yards beyond the end of the paved road, on the gravel road. Check in opens at 10:30 am at the start/finish area located on the beach upon entering at the #2 beach access off the unpaved section of Reeder Rd. Entry Fee: Free to members of the Rooster-Sauvie Volunteers. $15 for an annual membership and/or race entry. No pre-registration. Day of event registration only. Course: Flat, packed sand beach and trails along the scenic Columbia River (if the river is low enough) or out and back dash on Reeder Road with a finish line splash in the river! Awards: $100 purse of Fred Meyer gift cards to first through third male and female finishers, ribbons and other prizes for all participants in every age category. Event timing, food and warm refreshments provided. No pre-registration required. Just show up and join the fun. All are welcome!

Turn right after gate house and go to far East end lot. Check-in and start/finish area just beyond the far East end lot comfort station. Entry Fee: Free to members of the Rooster-Sauvie Volunteers. $15 for an annual membership and/or race entry. No pre-registration. Day of event registration only. Check-in opens at 10:30 am. Course: Challenging wooded trails with a river plunge at the finish to welcome in the New Year! 04/17/2010 Eu-Green 5K/Fun Run 5K and 1 mile Fun Run Alton Baker Park, Eugene Oregon www.eugreen5k.com/ eugreen5k@gmail.com Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity at the University of Oregon present: The Eu-Green 5K! The Eu-Green 5K is the first race event looking to be "Green Certified" by the Certification for Responsible Sport. This race will have organic race shirts, paperless registration, biodegradable day-of-event items, and information packets for you to "Go Green!" at home. Part of the proceeds from this run will go towards the Council for Responsible Sport and promotional/certification efforts in getting University of Oregon Sports to GO GREEN! The other part of the proceeds will go to EC Cares which is an organization that provides early intervention and early childhood special education services to infants, toddlers and preschool children in Lane County.

The inaugural Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon will celebrate this rich history with a bucolic 13.1 mile course meandering from Stoller Vineyards in the Dundee Hills to the winery-laden town of Carlton. This will become one of Oregon’s most popular road races and the signature event on Labor Day weekend in the Willamette Valley, held annually when the weather and wine are just so fine!

Saturday, June 25, 2011 8:30 AM 10K, 9:00 AM 5K Who can participate? This event is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. Runners, hikers, and walkers of all paces are encouraged to participate! Please leave your furry friends at home. Why? The mission of this event is to generate awareness to a plant-based lifestyle and to raise money for Northwest VEG's education and outreach campaigns. Registration Options for 5K and 10K: $25 before June 20 ($5 off for NW VEG Members)$30 June 20-25 ($5 off for NW VEG Members) $10 additional for organic cotton Race T-shirt (must order before June 1) Event Details: 10K start time: 8:30 AM 5K start time: 9:00 AM Bib Pick-Up (Saturday, June 25): 7:30-8:45 AM Chip timing: Ipico Sports Sportag finish timing for fast accurate results by Northwest Timing. Aid Stations: There will be one aid station at the start/finish in lower Macleay Park. And one aid station with water along the 10K course on Aspen Avenue.
