1966 CHEVY II NOVA
You are looking at a 1966 CHEVY Nova II 4 door. It does run and can be
driven. This is a great car awaiting a restoration that would take
little future efforts. The car has 118,997 miles.
It has a 283 V8 with a manual 3 speed on the column [tree]. The radiator
has just been repaired & current head work has been done as well as
intake gaskets. Clutch is good and 3 speed transmission was prior
replaced with a used. The brake master cyl. was replaced last year. I
have many extra parts to go with this car but too numerous to mention.
[3 extra spare wheels and tires-stock], 3 spd trans., carburators etc.
The car has 14" wheels & tires with bow tie hub caps. The interior radio
is missing. The glove box door needs a new latch. The cars battery tray
bottom is rusted but still holds and the front areas around the front
shock towers are not rusted.
Exhaust is not rusted out or through..
The current gas cap is a temporary one as prior was a locking and keys
were lost, thus removed locking cap and was going to find a original but
my time has ran out.
The glass on this car is PERFECT! No pitts or cracks..
The car is from Nebraska. It has very little rust. The main rust is
located in the front drivers side floor panel, smaller areas of the
passenger side floor panel, and min. rear floor panel (see picture) but
over all the car is solid. The holes [rust] are simply not that big or
as bad as I've seen many of these year cars be. The car underneath is
clean and once again very solid as this car had been stored in a barn
for some time and protected from the elements of weather.
The trunk has no rust through!
The primer that was painted on this car over the GM "Fawn" color was
painted on with a spray can by some children [kids] prior. Please note
no repair was done where [brown] prime colors exists.Car is solid.
The interior was cleaned out per a current mice investation. I was
preparing to re-do interior anyhow. The dirty works done so you wont
have too! No more mice or material hanging for nesting. The car was
cleaned out very well. All four door panels are in good condition and
did not need replaced, maybe only one arm rest needs replaced of the
four.As for interior it will need a front dash pad and rear shelf, upper
headliner, and seat covers to complete. The seat springs [front & rear] as
well as headliner bows [in proper orders]are all in tack and ready to
accept new interior parts.
