15,300 Miles on the odometer. I bought the bike with 13732 miles on it
from a friend that can no longer ride due to medical reasons. It had
been 25 years since I had a bike when I bought this one. It's a great
bike and a lot of fun to ride but I want to a modern sport bike. I have
put about 1500 miles on this bike in the last two months and it have
proven to be reliable. Starts very easily and runs good.
I have the following items that are not on the bike.
Original right-hand side-cover
Original air box and filter.
Clymer manual
Here is what has been done to the bike since I bought it.
New front tire & tube.
New neck bearings, Converted to tapered roller bearings.
New plugs & points, dwell set and timed.
New fork seals
New front brake pads
New seal on output shaft.
New #110 jets to replace #105s
New oil and filer.
Rebuilt kit installed in master brake cylinder
Carbs balanced
Valve lash checked/adjusted
The previous owner said that the chain had approx 60 miles on it when I
bought it. It does look brand new.
