The Run will be in conjunction with the two week Magiko celebration of the Carson Valley. The course will take runners through scenic neighborhoods and beautiful open space surrounded by the Sierra Nevada and Pine Nut Mountain ranges. This race will be open to all ages, experience levels and families are encouraged to participate. There will be a free post event celebration for all participants, with a BBQ, ice cream social and live music. A nominal fee may be charged for non-participants, as well as an expo showcasing local businesses. EVENT DETAILS. The 10K/5k run & walk will wind through the beautiful and historic Carson Valley. The start/finish will be at the Syncon Homes Community Park and will wind through the area north of Minden. 10k Run - The course is a relatively flat road run and will be friendly for the serious athlete as well as the casual running enthusiast. Official chip timing will be provided.
